The Path to Gender Equity in Boards of Directors
In 2023, the Brazilian chapter of the 30% Club introduced an award to recognize companies in the IBrX 100 Index that had 30% or more women on their Boards of Directors. This award ceremony was held on November 30, 2023, and was the first edition of the award. The purpose of the initiative was to inspire other companies to achieve gender parity on their Boards of Directors.
The leaders from the awarded companies will share their experiences, challenges, opportunities and perspectives on the path to gender parity in Boards of Directors. The hope is that these 17 companies will inspire other companies in the IBrX 100 and pave the way for an increase in the number of awarded companies in the second edition of the award, which will be held on October 30, 2024.
