As the Chair of the Board of 30% Club Brazil—a global initiative present across G20 countries and committed to promoting greater diversity on Boards of Directors—I am writing to respectfully invite you to a strategic reflection regarding the 2026 Annual General Meetings (AGMs).
As we approach a new cycle of AGMs, we believe this is a particularly opportune moment to evaluate the legacy that Boards of Directors will leave concerning gender equity—a topic increasingly scrutinized by institutional investors, proxy advisors, and other capital market stakeholders.
Recurrent studies demonstrate that more diverse Boards tend to deliver higher-quality debate, more robust decision-making, and better alignment with contemporary governance expectations. Nevertheless, a significant number of companies in the IBrX100 index still lack female representation on their Boards.
