About 30% Club Brazil

The 30% Club is a global movement started in England that works to influence Chairmen and CEOs to take concrete steps to increase gender diversity on the boards and senior leadership of companies listed on the stock exchanges of G20 countries.

Our goals in Brazil are:

  1. Achieve at least 30% women on the Boards of Directors of IBrX 100 companies by 2026.
  2. Achieve up to 50% women on the Boards of Directors of IBrX 100 companies by 2030.

To support the achievement of a minimum of 30% Gender Balance at all senior decision-making tables across Brazil, including Boards and c-Suite.

Activate senior leaders

Engage chairs and CEOs to drive change and support organisations in their diversity & inclusion endeavours, with a specific focus on gender.

Influence

Influence those with power to drive change

Influence at a national level on diversity related topics and working complementary to other national initiatives including Balance for Better Business, the State Boards Diversity Initiative.

Enable

Enabling future women leaders

Support the development of talent pipeline through mentoring, executive education scholarships and board-ready initiatives.

Our Work

Main Aims

The Activate Committee’s objective is to engage the leadership of companies in the IBRx100 Brazil index to promote greater gender representation on their boards of directors.

The Activate Committee’s initiatives include holding webinars with C-level executives in Brazil, discussing topics of relevance to boards, awarding companies listed in the IBRx100 index with more than 30% women on their Boards of Directors, publishing award-winning companies in the RI magazine, and attracting new members and participating companies.

Main Aim

The ESG Committee of the 30% Club Brazil focuses on integrating environmental, social, and governance considerations into corporate practices regarding gender diversity. The activities aim to align the Diversity and Inclusion mission of the 30% Club Brazil with an integrated ESG perspective, highlighting the need to enhance ESG competencies within Boards of Directors. Consequently, this promotes an expansion of gender diversity.
