The Talent Pipeline Workgroup embarked on a “Get on Board”  roadshow in 2018 to galvanise support for the movement amongst the many corporations and female professionals in Malaysia. This session was held with about 25 female members of the Kuala Lumpur Bar.

Get on Board with the HR Leaders’ Circle

The Talent Pipeline Workgroup embarked on a “Get on Board”  roadshow in 2018 to galvanise support for the movement amongst the many corporations and female professionals in Malaysia. This session was held with about 30 members of the HR Leaders’ Circle and hosted by Zahira Sughra Zainuddin, Head, Corporate Project (Talent) and her capable team at Petronas.

Hannah Yeoh Graces the Board Mentoring Celebration

The 30% Club Malaysia recently had a board mentoring celebration which was graced by YB Hannah Yeoh, Deputy Minister of Women, Family and Community Development.

The board mentoring programme helps fast track mentees’ appreciation of director duties and accountabilities through interactions with experienced mentors.

The 30% Club Malaysia has four cohorts since the programme was launched in July last year, with two cycles completed and two more ongoing.

The third session was held with 54 members of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).

Get on Board with the ACCA

The Talent Pipeline Workgroup embarked on a “Get on Board”  roadshow in 2018 to galvanise support for the movement amongst the many corporations and female professionals in Malaysia. The third session was held with 24 members of the ACCA.

Get on Board with SP Setia

The Talent Pipeline Workgroup embarked on a  “Get on Board”  roadshow in 2018 to galvanise support for the movement amongst the many corporations and female professionals in Malaysia. The second session was held with 35 participants from SP Setia of levels of GM and above.

Get on Board with UEM Group

The Talent Pipeline Workgroup embarked on a  “Get on Board”  roadshow in 2018 to galvanise support for the movement amongst the many corporations and female professionals in Malaysia. The first of these was held with UEM Group and saw 54 C-2 participants.

A dialogue with Dato’ Sri Idris Jala

On 16 April 2018, PwC Malaysia, in collaboration with 30% Club Malaysia, hosted a sharing session at our office with Dato’ Sri Idris Jala, President and CEO of PEMANDU Associates, as guest speaker.

Themed ‘Empowering women through mentorship’, the dialogue focused on what can be done to ensure greater gender diversity in the boardroom.  The event was also held to welcome the mentors and mentees from the 3rd cohort of 30% Club’s Board Mentoring Scheme, and to recognise the mentees from the 1st cohort, who had recently completed the 9-month programme.
