The 30% Club has launched a Strategy Best Practices Working Group (“the Group”) to help businesses incorporate gender diversity into company-wide strategy development and beyond the traditional scope of HR.
The 30% Club Australia, a leading organisation campaigning for 30% women on ASX boards, has announced new targets for ASX 201- 300 companies to meet the 30% target by the end of 2021 to mark International Women’s Day.
The 30% Club Hong Kong (30% Club HK) and The Women’s Foundation (TWF) have released a video featuring some of Hong Kong’s most prominent women business leaders to highlight the lack of gender diversity on Hong Kong boards. The video echoes Hong Kong Chief Executive Carrie Lam’s annual policy address last month that included a strong call for all Hong Kong listed companies to appoint more women on their boards. In Hong Kong, women represent only 13% of directors for Hang Seng Index companies and around one in three listed companies have all-male boards.

In memory of Dame Helen Alexander, the 30% Club has created two awards and invites applications from across the world of business for the Dame Helen Alexander Award for the Most Promising Mentee, and the Dame Helen Alexander Award for the Greatest Commitment to Mentoring.
The 30% Club UK Investor Group has grown from 7 to 27 members and from £1.6 trillion to £10.5 trillion in assets under management. The initiative is now global, with significant groups in Australia and Canada as well as a new group forming in the US.
