8 July 2015, London - The 30% Club, alongside key supporters from business, government, media, and the Davies Steering Committee convened on Monday to celebrate the significant progress that has been made in gender diversity across the UK and abroad. The event, which was hosted by Deloitte and themed ‘Everyday inclusion’ marked the 30% Club’s fifth anniversary, and saw members update on their key achievements and plans for the future, as the UK verges on reaching the 25% women on board target recommended by Lord Davies.
London, 24th June 2015 – The 30% Club has launched five new key initiatives for women and girls in technology. The five programmes – created by the 30% Club’s Technology Working Group, led by Melissa Di Donato, VP EMEA and APAC at Salesforce – are intended to achieve better gender balance at all levels of organisations. All initiatives will have a component that is dedicated to inclusion, access and unconscious bias across the UK.
New database connects journalists to female leaders in business, finance, government and not-for-profit sectors who are available for media comment
20th May 2015, London – The 30% Club has today launched Women for Media UK, a database of female leaders in business, finance, government and not-for-profit sectors who are available for media comment on key topics of the day. The database directly connects journalists to these experts with the aim of raising women’s profiles and visibility throughout the media and beyond, as well as providing journalists with easy access to senior female thought leaders.
The launch of the database was held in Central London and was attended by over 60 female leaders and journalists from across a broad spectrum of disciplines and media forms, including national publications, magazines and blogs.
